I wanted something flush to the ceiling that gave off as much heat as the old IXA 2 heat lamp bulb + light. I love it. Flush, quiet fan, and heat lamp is on par with the old one. A 4 lamp one would have been very toasty, however I didn’t like the look of it, and didn’t want the grills to witness the build up over time.. the lamp is a warm white the heat lamps give a nice ambient light too. We wanted to control an additional light from the 4 switch panel, so hooked the heat lamps together on one switch. Which freed up a switch for the vanity light. Realistically you would always choose to have both on anyway. It would have been nice if it came with an alternative switch button so I could have 2 x lights rather than 2 x heats named on the light switch panel.
